COLORMAX™SC


DESCRIPTION
COLORMAX™SC is a natural cultured sugarcane fermented by using the bacterium strain Lactobacillus sp., which is used to extend drink shelf life by increasing anthocyanin (color) stability and providing multi-barrier against gram+ bacteria.

COLORMAX™NT


DESCRIPTION
COLORMAX™NT is pre-converted nitrite from naturally available nitrates in Swiss chard. COLORMAX™NT is used to enhance red-pinkish color and flavor development during meat curing. It eliminates the incubation time and elevated temperature requirements needed to perform curing procedures by the use of starter cultures for nitrate conversion. It can also supplement antimicrobial functionality by inhibiting gram+ bacteria such as Listeria and C. botulinum in processed meat products.

COLORMAX™NT is labelled as vegetal nitrite or cultured chard, which is approved as GRAS by FDA, USA. The regulations governing the use of COLORMAX™NT vary considerably in the countries in which it is currently approved.

Swiss chard is well known for containing high levels of nitrate (2,992 mg/kg) along with components such as phenolic acids and flavonoids, which can be converted to nitrite using nitrate reducing starter cultures such as S. Xylosus to manufacture COLORMAX™NT which is used to replace synthetic nitrites in meat industry.
 
COOKED PORK MEAT
COLORMAX™NT (0.7% w/w) in cooked (cured) pork meat displays reddish pink color of meat after curing with a Total Plate Count value lower than 2.0 LOG CFU/g.

NOREPSYL™ PURE


DESCRIPTION
NOREPSYL™ PURE is pure ε-Polylysine derived naturally from the fermentation of Streptomyces albulus PD-1. Which has an excellent growth inhibitory effect against a wide range of microorganisms such as Gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus cereus, etc.), Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella etc.), and Yeast in a variety of foods and beverages.

NOREPSYL™HCL 


DESCRIPTION
NOREPSYL™HCL is pure ε-Polylysine HCL concentrate, derived naturally from a controlled fermentation of Streptomyces diastatochromogenes. NOREPSYL™HCL is an ideal natural broad-spectrum antimicrobial for extending the shelf life of a variety of foods and beverages.

SURIMI
500 mg/Kg of NOREPSYL™HCL added in Surimi displays effectiveness in reducing Total Plate Count and extends shelf-life to 6 days, stored at 5°C.

DESCRIPTION
NOREPSYL™ 250MAX is a pure ε-Polylysine concentrate derived naturally by fermentation of Streptomyces albulus PD-1. NOREPSYL™ 250MAX concentrate is produced to reach high antimicrobial activity against fungi, Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is an ideal broad-spectrum natural antimicrobial to extend the shelf life of a variety of foods.

ε-Polylysine NOREPSYL™ 250MAX mode of action: enters the cytoplasm of bacterial cells, increases the level of ROS and the reacts with genome DNA, which induces cell death. It is an active formula to eliminate bacterial (gram positive and gram negative) population in food matrixes.
 
RTE RICE (MEAT, VEGETABLE AND SAUCE)
10 ml/Kg of NOREPSYL™ 250MAX was added in RTE Rice and it was efficacy against Gram-positive bacteria (e.g. B.cereus), Molds such as P. roquefortii, and Gram-negative bacteria (e.g. P. lundensis).
 
SOUP/CHOWDER/STEW
10-20 ml/kg NOREPSYL™ 250MAX has shown effectiveness against Total Plate Counts for up to 50 days in these products.

PLANTIMAX™ BK is group of berry extracts rich in polyphenols compounds which effectively inhibits Yeasts and Molds in a broad range of Bakery, Culinary and Confectionery applications.

Foods contaminated by fungi look unacceptable, invariably have an alteration in taste and may contain mycotoxins. Several mechanisms contribute to spoilage by yeasts and molds, such as the production of lytic enzymes (lipases, proteases, and cellulases) and gas, utilisation of organic acids, discolouration, and off-flavours.
 
BREAD
3 g/kg of PLANTIMAX™ BK can prevent the mold growth for more than 26 days whereas control bread was already spoiled at day 5 when stored at room temperature.
 
FRESH CHEESE
3 g/kg of PLANTIMAX™ BK showed undectable growth of Yeasts & Molds for up to 15 days at 5°C storage conditions, whereas the control samples were already spoiled.

BEER
1 g/kg of PLANTIMAX™ CitricSilver was added to Beer brewing just before bottling of the beers to avoid the second fermentation caused by residual yeasts in the beers. The second fermentation is usually the main cause of  blowing and exploding of bottles/cans.
 
OAT MILK
1 g/kg of PLANTIMAX™ CitricSilver added to the recipe of oat milk production gave a significant decrease in CFU for Total Plate Counts and Yeast Counts to give shelf-life for up to 34 days.
